We have already mentioned the Young Talents trophy organised by the Boiron Frères company foundation (our friends the vergers Boiron) to enable young cooking graduates to acquire international experience. The Bocuse d’Or Winners are heavily involved alongside our partner, and we are happy to announce that the first three prize winners (and they’re all girls!) were selected last January by a jury that included Michel Roth, Bocuse d’or 1991 and previous president of the Bocuse d’Or Winners.
The happy prize winners are: Floriane Brilhaut, from the La Rochelle catering school; Mélina Greiss, from the Paul-Augier catering school in Nice; Cyndie Guillot, from the François-Rabelais catering school in Dardilly. For a period of one year, these three young graduates will have the pleasure of working in turn for Ferdy Debecker in Belgium, Geir Skeie in Norway, and Henrik Norström in Sweden (four months with each one).
Beyond the value in terms of training, the girls will also be required to communicate about their time there and report on what they are doing: their professional experience, discovering new countries, and new cultures! That should fill up a few pages! So stay connected starting next June.
