New Team Manager for the National Culinary team of Iceland.
Hákon has just been appointed by the Icelandic chefs association to manage the National Culinary team of Iceland.
It is a well deserved mission for him who has offered a Bocuse d’Or podium to Island in 2001 but has also taken part in many other competitions, as a competitor or a member of the jury. This experience, combined with a steady engagement in promoting his country’s products made him the ideal person to manage a team he wants to lead higher and higher. His mission will, among others, consist in finding talented chefs, which will certainly contribute to keep alive the creative spirit of young Icelandic chefs, in a country which attracts many tourists thanks to an amazing natural environment.
