More than a decade ago driven by his passion for cuisine chef Petar Yorgov founded the Bulgarian Association for Culinary Culture (BACC). Back in 2014 he realized that the secret to success lies in consistency, practice, and hard work which develop one’s talent. He had a vision larger than sharing culinary experience, he was on a mission to inspire and find young talents in the culinary art. He is a mentor and leader, dedicated to elevate the profession, fostering collaboration, and inspiring the next generation of chefs through knowledge, ethics, and respect for the craft.

BAAC organize numerous competitions, supports young students with scholarships, holds various national forums such as Evolutions of taste, Pagur festival, and other. Chef Yorgov prides in the organization of the national competition Young Chef in collaboration with the Bulgarian Ministry of education and science.

Chef Yorgov is a visionary chef whose passion for excellence extends far beyond the kitchen and the work at BACC. As an executive auditor for the renowned Bulgarian chain Grifid Hotels, he brings precision, integrity, and an uncompromising commitment to quality, ensuring the highest culinary standards across every property. Well known for his refined palate and deep technical knowledge, he balances creativity with discipline, innovation with consistency and continuously strives for popularizing the culinary art, fining talents and bring people together through food and hospitality. Thanks to innovations and Yorgov’s inspiration Grifid Hotels has won numerous quality awards and keeps satisfying their customers with high quality and choice when it comes to food. Grifid Hotels were the pioneers in opening a show cooking molecular cuisine restaurant – Chef’s passion, which is one of a kind on the Black Sea coast, offering one of a kind menu presented by the chef himself.
